Hi everyone,

How have you been? I have been busy lately, so couldn't post anything on the blog and was not so regular on Instagram, too! So, this is the time of the year again. Are you all geared up for Christmas? Are you done with your shopping already? If not, then here is the key.

Few days back, I was searching for some great coupon and deal site for my family back India. And, I found Couponzguru. If you are an absolute shopping junky, then discount codes can save your pocket from spending more. Couponzguru can be the ultimate source for you if you are looking for good deals and coupons of popular brands and lifestyle stores.  What attracts me most is their tag line " A penny saved is a penny earned". From clothing to electronics, baby products to ticket bookings, this online site can be your one stop shopping solutions. Few amazing deals which catch my eyes are Infibeam coupons  and Fabfurnish coupons. Specially for this holiday season, I can't help but mention particularly about Ferns and Petals coupons for online flower and gift deliveries.

So, what are you waiting for? Celebrate the joy of savings with Couponzguru and don't forget to share your experience with us.

Christmas is around the corner and that means this is the time of the year again. This is time of rhythmic Jingle bells, Santa clause and definitely gifts for our loved ones. As I already told you, I always prefer to shop online during winter. And, with Ryan it's really difficult to stand in a queue and find our parking space in this chilly weather. So, this year I am planning to opt for a gift registry at MyRegistry.com!

Gift registry? Sounds unfamiliar? Well, gift registry is a concept which I came to know when I was preggo last year. Baby registry is very common here. We can create an online registry for an event and add our preferred items. Friends and family can look at that registry and gift according to that. So, we can get items which we want and they don't have to think about the gifts also. Win win?

At MyRegistry.com, a holiday wish list is universal. You have to add items from any store in the world onto one list and share it via numerous social media platforms, e-cards or just a simple link. For those of you with kids, a holiday registry wards off embarrassing questions of having to choose specific items to tell the family members to purchase. It is also really fun experience to sit down with your children and create the lists as a family. For sure, your son or daughter knows exactly what they want for the holidays and allowing them to make an online wish list is complete nirvana.

Eyeing that Channel bag this Christmas? Or that Gucci watch?   Leaving a page open from a magazine of your favorite handbag or shoes may be a nice subtle hint, but spelling it out on a wish list makes sure that you REALLY get what you were hoping to get.

Some naysayers might say “it isn't polite to ask for things” and “this is not in the spirit of the holiday season,” but I say “Nay” back to them. It is exactly in the spirit of the season, like writing to a letter to Santa when we were children - only it comes with a direct link, no waiting in the stores, and hopefully free shipping.

Online shopping has undoubtedly changed the way consumers shop in India. Not only has online shopping trend made Indians more informed about their buying decision, it has also opened new avenues for sellers to overcome the geographical boundaries and increase their customer base.

Almost 8 millions shoppers make their purchases over internet regularly and this number is exponentially growing every passing day. Considering only Google that is used as a search engine, Indian shoppers search mostly for books, electronics, beauty and personal care products, furnishing and home utility items the most while doing online shopping. The clothing and fashion apparels category is gaining pace rapidly in the most searched and bought items online, thanks to the top lifestyle apparel sites like Jabong and Myntra. The growing focus on clothing and a wide variety of products with size guide and easy exchange has given more confidence to shoppers to buy clothes online.

Various initiatives are being taken every day to add more and more number of shoppers to the online world. The latest upcoming festival is the Google Online shopping festival. Myntra is offering myntra gosf coupons to offer huge discounts on clothing and accessories and expect to get attract more and more customers on to their site.

Just like Flipkart transformed the way people buy books and electronics, websites like Jabong and Myntra have overcome the hurdles of physical touch and feel of the product. With cash on delivery, easy returns and exchange, and super fast delivery; customers are now opening up to try on the garments. Pricing is another main factor for the success of online shopping for clothes. With no intermediaries in between, and ongoing sales and discounts, the best of national and international brands are available at dearth cheap prices. Additionally, shoppers get a plethora of options right on their computer screens and they don’t have to wander to different showrooms to get the perfect attire.

With great quality products Myntra has made quite an impression in the online shopping industry. Clothes are a tricky product to sell as it lacks the feel and touch factor when it comes to online selling, but creative and focused marketing have helped online merchants to instill confidence in online shoppers. Also, shopping for international brands through online can be done and shipped to even areas where the showrooms of such big brands do not exist. Marketing the advantages of online clothes shopping has given added leverage to the shopping sites to attract customers.

Be it any occasion, casual, formal or party, shopping clothes online is always more convenient, easy and filled with more options for the shoppers. No hassles of long travels, spending long hours in trial rooms; now Indians order clothes online conveniently. The advent of various new online clothing shopping websites in the past 2 years have proven the success of instilling confidence in today’s shoppers regarding the purchase of clothes. Festivals like GOSF also prove as the provoking factors with their huge discounts and amazing deals.

I never been to Delhi. Yes, I am an Indian, but I never been to the capital (I'm not counting airports for sure :-P ). Can you believe that? But somehow, the city has never failed to awestruck me with it's diversity. Be it the enriching history, vibrant culture or multitudinous offerings of entertainment to keep you happily engaged, the most endearing quality of the city is its strategic location which makes it one of the best places to enjoy end number of weekend trips.Read below to find my picks of charming and unique weekend getaways from Delhi.

Agra

Mathura-Agra (220 km) – As cliché as it may sound, but there is no denying the fact that your holiday in India is incomplete if you do not visit the famous Taj Mahal. However, the charm of Agra goes beyond the Taj as there are many eminent historical edifices which have contributed largely in the prominence of this historical city. Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's Mausoleum and opportunities of shopping are the main draws. En route to Agra from Delhi, tourists can not miss shopping at Mathura and Vrindavan, the places associated with the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna. The main attraction here is the Krishna Janambhoomi temple. Small knick-knacks can be purchased from the temple complex.

Must visit

Delhi-Alwar-Jaipur (270 km) – The historical belt of Delhi, Alwar and Jaipur is a must visit tourist
circuit for all the tourists. Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is famous for its history as it is for its culture and shopping expeditions. Alwar, on the way from Delhi to Jaipur, is a perfect place to relax and unwind, especially for the history buffs.

Must visit

Delhi-Dehradun-Mussoorie (271 km) – Dehradun and Mussoorie in Uttaranchal are among the most popular weekend trips from Delhi. In Dehradun and Mussoorie, tourists are greeted with green hills, invigorating ambiance and varieties of flora and fauna. The scenery of the region is nothing less than what we see in fairy tales, which explains the reason why this is a favoured honeymoon destination among couples.

Must see

Delhi-Rishikesh-Haridwar (250 km) – The major facets that draw tourists to holiday in Rishikesh are its holy temples, thrilling adventure of rafting and not to miss the soulful ‘yoga’ experience. Haridwar on the other hand is a very famous pilgrim centre and it is believed that a bath at the Ganges at Haridwar flushes away all of one's sins. This is a perfect weekend trip for those looking for a spiritual cum relaxing tour from Delhi.

Delhi-Nainital-Corbett (286 km) – The weekend trip from Delhi to Nainital and then to Corbett and back is one of the most enchanting. It will not be an overstatement to tag this tourism belt as an ‘all-compassing’ one as tourists can enjoy all the aspect of a great holiday in a single trip. There is nature, adventure and culture in Nainital and the experience of wildlife in India’s first tiger reserve, Jim Corbett National Park.

Some of the lesser known but equally enigmatic places that are perfect weekend breaks from Delhi are Sariska(201 km), Lansdowne (236 km), Parwanoo (266 km) and Morni Hills (276 km). I suggest you to refer the awesome guide of weekend destination from cities across India at Mustseeindia.com. There are end numbers of places around Delhi beyond 300 km which too can be visited when planning a long holiday from Delhi. Irrespective of whether you are looking for a day picnic, weekend holiday or a long relaxing break, the options from Delhi are endless.

Hi everyone,

Have I told you that I miss being pregnant? No, it doesn't mean that I am planning to carry someone again ! (ha ha) Honestly, I don't think that I will be pregnant again. I feel content with Ryan. But, somehow I miss those days when I was carrying my baby within me. Those kicks, those hiccups, his each and every activities, raising a tiny life within me - I miss those feelings! Those sleepless nights, those dizziness, unbearable pain and lots of other things....Ryan made it worthwhile.

Coming to the outfit, this is what I wore on day 2 of last year's Vermont Trip.
