DYI Skin Care: Honey face mask

By  Ayantika     2:25 PM    Labels:,

Hi Bellezas! Today I am going to share with you my favorite home made beauty recipe. This is especially for winter season. As the weather turned colder and drier, we need to take good care of our skin. Ingredients like Honey can do magic for your skin. Check out this homemade recipe for healing your dryness!

2 teaspoon warm honey
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoon olive oil

In a bowl mix all ingredients into a creamy thick texture and apply all over your face and neck. Relax and lie down for 20 minutes and then wash off with luke warm water. And yes, please moisturize afterwards.

This face pack works just wonder for you! Honey has natural antioxidant and anti aging properties. Egg yolk has vitamin A that has retinoid or Retin A which is used to help skin shedding, regulate the amount of skin produced, stops pores from clogging. And Olive oil is a natural moisturizer. Use this mask twice a week for smooth silky skin. Oh yes, this mask is great for all skin types.

What is your favorite winter care face mask? Let me know!! :-)

  7. Me too! Im a fan of DIY facial treatments, my favorite recipe also involves the good ol' honey. This is an easy and fast to made honey mask for face. You have to mix 2 teaspoons of honey with two spoons of milk. Apply the paste thus obtained on your face and neck. Wait for ten minutes than remove the honey on your face with lukewarm water. Try this and hope you guys will like it, this recipe is good for skin rehydration :) Oh and one more thing, make sure you are using all natural and pure honey. :)
