Anti Aging Series : I

But, every man and woman are not Robert Frost...they do remember our age...we do remember our age .... to live properly, to feel properly, to act properly and to fight properly !!

The fight against ageing and attempts to look younger are a never ending quest for most women.So, here comes few weapon :-

We can't control our age!So,if we don't keep worrying about ageing, it will stop bothering us (really! huh ). What's more, studies indicate that if we keep worrying, we will develop those worry lines and wrinkles much faster. Use those anti-wrinkles cream and anti ageing creams by all means, but don't become a worrier because of it. Use your mind to win over the process of ageing. Don't mind the natural changes happening in the mind. Let them not matter so much. If you do that, you will be able to manage the signs of ageing better.

A few extra pounds can make us look older!So,...........exercise exercise exercise ! This is a great way to slow aging. Regular exercise keeps the skin firm and improving elasticity of skin turns into a beautiful glow. Regular exercise helps to release chemicals that help the body cope with stress (biggest friend of aging) more easily.

If you are a lazy bum like me then? Hello, a mile of walk can also do the wonder!Walking strengthens your heart.Study shows that woman who walked three hours or more per week reduced their risk of a heart attack or other coronary event by 35% compared with women who did not walk. (Source : www.medicinenet.com). 

Look into your diet. Reduce consumption of foods cooked at high temperature such as baked goods. Also try to avoid those mouth watering fried dishes.

By relying more on steaming, boiling and stewing to cook foods people may be able to stay healthier. These strategies will reduce the amount of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), or glycotoxins that people consume with their food. The more AGEs healthy people eat, the greater their levels of inflammation and oxidative stress.Have plenty of fresh veggie and fruits, especially the seasonal one and drink 2-3 ltrs of H2O everyday. Always remember "Breakfast like a king, lunch a queen, dinner like a pauper" !

    About anti ageing, I feel that it is important to nourish your soul with peaceful thoughts and never lose the enthusiasm for life (apart from a healthy diet ) - the body/ face is the reflection of our state of mind/ thoughts.

  13. great post. so true, sometime we get more wrinkles because we are obsessed and worried with anti aging. i mean someday i am all about night cremes. and someday i am like whats the use, i mean i will eventually get old. but oh well.
