In April last year , me and my husband went for our first trip ! It was a one day trip to Boston.
And, we enjoyed every bit of it. It was special ! (smile)
Beautiful memories !!

Making it short...i mean in words. Let the pictures tell the story !

 Roaming around downtown

 Before entering The Boston Aquarium

New England Aquarium

 Boston Harbour

 The Duck Tour

Boston Quincy Market

India Street (Oh ! we were so happy )

And, this is our favorite snap(smile) -Direct from the Boston Harbor Cruise for whale watching

Directions from Connecticut : You can take Peterpan Bus or your own/hired car. It will hardly take 2.5 - 3 hours to reach Boston. Beautiful place for a weekend hangout.

Main Attractions : Whale Watching, Duck Tour, New England Aquarium, Quincy Market, Harvard University, MIT, The Freedom Trail etc. For whale watch, Duck Tour and Aquarium, you can buy tickets online.

Foods : The best place to have food is Quincy Market food mall. You can have any kind of cuisines there.Else, you can go to Harbor side food stall. If you wanna have Mexican delicacy at TGIF, then don't worry, you can find it near by Harbor. Anyway, I am not mentioning the Mac D and Subway here.Should I ? (smile)

So, go and enjoy ! :-)

Happy Weekend !

In today's busy world, online shopping has become the most preferred way to do our shopping.  According to research studies, approximately 30% of consumers worldwide shop via the internet.
But, to be honest, I am not a big fan of online shopping. I do prefer to buy my clothes, jeweleries and cosmetics from shopping malls and stores. But, that couldn't prevent me to browse various online shopping sites. ......And,..suddenly.....last month, I had my first online shopping experience in India.

I was browsing through Jabong.com and found a cute little shrug...and my retail urge told me...go baby go ! And ...I went! (wink)

And,......EXCELLENT is the word !

Jabong.com is very systematic, secure, user freindly and bug free e-commerce site and they do have a large no. of products and brands. They offer free shipping within India .Also, they do have COD ( cash on delivery) system and that even with free shipping. They offer 30 days return policy and it's free.

Few snap shots of my experience :

  • After the purchase they send you an sms with your order no which can be tracked on www.gojavas.com
  • Within another 10 mins, a customer care agent do call from their office to verify your order. In my case, it was worst. I purchased the same thing twice, so when they called me to verify my order, I requested them to cancel one of my order and they kept my request . Really. It was totally my fault and they were so co-operative with me.
  • They confirmed the order to be delivered within 3-5 business days. But they didn't keep their promises. I got my product delivered next day . Yes, Next Day. You heard it right.
  • Delivery boy was very professional I must say , and he called me before 1 hr to check the timing. That was a Saturday, I was home, so I replied him with an "yes".

  • I was happy with the packaging. It was neat and decent
  • Delivery boy asked me to check the product , so that I could return it to him if anything was wrong.
  • Shrug was super fit and I was happy, again :-)
  • I opted for COD option, so I gave the cash to the delivery boy.O yes, you can pay via card too.The delivery boy had nifty GPRS enabled card reader, too. Isn't it amazing ?

In a nutshell....I was simply delighted with their services...I didn't find any flaws in their services.
Only few addition can make them "Better than the best".

  • They should include variety of  trendy outfits in their range...like Dhoti pant, Jodhpuri pant, and maxi dress
  • Their jewelery range is costly...so they should include some cheaper version.

So, what are you waiting for ? Explore and shop at Jabong.

Happy Weekend !!

Riding in a crowded bus ? You will find her .
Walking on a pacific beach ? You will find her .
Attending a business meet ? You will find her.
Partying with friends at your favorite food giant ? You will find her.

She is fun, she is stylish, she is simple, she is serene, she is girl next door !
Yes, I am talking about my school buddy...Kasturi. Are you searching for a brand ambassador for your NGO ? Stop!...you just reached at your destination. And, for your information, this aspiring PhD student is an ex facilitator of "Mission of Mercy".

Kasturi, you are looking ultra-girly in this outfit. Both sweet and sexy, this white tunic dress with zero accessory is a great look for summer. The dress hits above the knees, so you can show off those fabulous legs you have been hiding all winter long. When the weather starts to cool off, simply add some cute tights for a fab fall look. And, that black peep toe add another dimension in this look. Don't you think this can be the ideal pin for super comfy ever "Black & White" trending ?!?!

And, here comes two minute style mantra directly from this alluring lady-"I just wear what I like and what makes me feel happy, comfortable and confident. I hate wearing makeup. Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity."

Awww...thank you Kasturi for these wonderful tips ! (:

Loadsa LOVE,

July is so lucky month for me.Yesterday, it was my daddy's b'day. And, after just 18 days, it's my man's ! Yes, two most important men of my life born in the same month. (co-incidence nothing else )

So, being a daughter, and being a wife, July is the month of celebration for me.
But,then again, I am a style blogger, too.
And, for that...what can be best than to start a segment for Men's fashion in this month ?!?!

Yes, finally a dedicated segment for Men of our lives. We feel great if they feel great ! Don't we ?

The Boy : Sourav

Check short : Big Bazaar
Chappal : Westside
T shirt : from Argentina
Red Sleeveless Jacket : Reliance Style

The brown check short with black T shirt is a great combo for this steamy weather. And, the pop of color via that red sleeveless jacket and chappal break the monotony of this outfit. Sport this look if you are heading for a hiking with your best of buddies on a rainy weekend.

Last time, I missed the opportunity (yes, InFB is) to take part in the Tangerine remix, so this time I can't afford it. I was desperate to be a part of this Black & White remix. And, so this outfit....
And....for the post...honestly, I was trying for some(long) time to write ...anything....but couldn't make it .So, these quotes !

Thought of the day : If you don't have any idea to write about, then just Google something...anything... and copy the images , and your post is ready !

And, last but not the least, thank you so much Dia for these pictures.

Much LOVE,
